Japanese winter roads

Heavy snowfall across the world was not spared, and the Land of the Rising Sun. In the mountains Hakoda, in Aomori Prefecture on Honshu Island, each year a fall of snow, which sometimes reaches a thickness of the cover 10 meters. That same winter, broke all record mark: in some areas dropped to 20 or more feet of snow.


But at the same roads that were laid to the ski resorts in the area, there are always clean and dry.


Some tourist buses that travel this road make a small stop, allowing tourists to get out and enjoy the view of the snow tunnel.
